What is Norynta?

Norynta is a Solana-native prediction market where you can stay informed and trade on future events across many topics. Prediction markets combine bids and asks from participants into prices that can reflect the market’s current view of an outcome’s odds, subject to liquidity, participation, and information-quality limits.

On Norynta, you buy and sell outcome shares that represent future event outcomes (for example: “Will BTC be above $100k by year-end?”). Instead of betting against a bookmaker, you trade peer-to-peer on an order book, and prices update in real time as supply and demand change.

Quick overview

  • You buy and sell shares representing an outcome (e.g. “YES” or “NO”).
  • Shares are priced between 0.00 and 1.00 USDC and can be traded before the event resolves.
  • For binary markets, complementary outcomes are fully collateralized by 1.00 USDC held in Solana vaults to support redemption after resolution.
  • Shares are created when opposing sides come to an agreement on odds, such that what both sides pay sums to 1.00 USDC of collateral.
  • The winning outcome is redeemable for 1.00 USDC per share at resolution; the losing outcome is redeemable for 0.
  • The counterparty to each fill is another Norynta user; there is no “house”.
  • Shares can be sold before resolution when the market is open and there is available liquidity.

Understanding prices

Prices = probabilities. If “YES” is trading at 18¢, the market is pricing that outcome as roughly an 18% chance. Norynta doesn’t set odds; traders do by posting bids and asks to the order book.

Making money on markets

If you believe the real probability is higher than the current market price, you can buy that outcome. For example, buying “YES” at 18¢ and having the market resolve “YES” creates a gross payout of 100¢ per winning share before fees.

If the market later reprices and “YES” trades at 30¢, you may be able to sell before resolution if there is enough liquidity at that price.

How accurate are Norynta odds?

Prediction market prices can be useful because traders may incorporate news, polls, research, and expert knowledge into bids and asks. Prices can still be wrong, thinly traded, delayed, or distorted by poor information.

Treat market prices as one signal among many, not as a guarantee that an outcome will happen or that a market is correctly priced.
